CIOR’s Civil Military (CIMIC) Committee invites you to attend the third annual CIOR Civil Military Exercise (CIMEX) 2014. CIMEX takes place prior to the CIOR Annual Summer Congress held in July/Aug of each year in a different member country.

CIMEX 14 will take place at the German Infantry School in Hammelburg, Germany, approximately 65 kms from Fulda. It will be held over the period Thurs 31 July to Mon 4 Aug. Participants will be expected to arrive in the evening of Thurs 31 July, and will be able to disperse in the afternoon of 4 Aug.

The CIMEX will consist of a series of presentations, followed by a desktop exercise. During the desktop exercise, participants will be put into multinational syndicates, and work on specific tasks. They will present their syndicate task solutions to a group of senior officers on the morning of 4 Aug. On the evenings of 31 July and 2 Aug there will be social events to allow participants to get to know each other. The CIMEX will end with a plenary session followed by an opportunity to view a Medical Field Hospital display in Wildflecken.
